1.1 These are the Terms and Conditions on which we supply services to you.
1.2 Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They tell you who we are, how we will provide services to you, how we and you may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
1.3 If you think that there is a mistake in these Terms and Conditions then please contact us to discuss.
1.4 In the event of an inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the content of any literature provided by us to you, then these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
1.5 A large font version of this document is available at reception, should it be required.

2.1 In these Terms and Conditions the following words shall have the following meanings:
2.1.1 “Dentist(s) / Senior Dentist(s)” A general dental practitioner being registered to practice with the General Dental Council;
2.1.2 “Hygienist(s)” A hygienist registered to practice with the General Dental Council;
2.1.3 “Non-Surgical Treatment(s)” Treatment supplied by us not being a surgical Procedure;
2.1.4 “Nurse(s)” A dental nurse registered to practice by the General Dental Council;
2.1.5 “Orthodontic Therapist(s)” An orthodontic therapist is a registered member of the dental team who assists in orthodontic treatment;
2.1.6 “Patient(s)” Any person who has entered or is contemplating entering into a contract for a Procedure or Non-Surgical Treatment from us;
2.1.7 “Practice Policies and Procedure(s)” A folder outlining all practice policies and procedures provided to Patients where applicable;
2.1.8 “Procedure(s)” A dental, surgical, or orthodontic procedure performed for a Patient;
2.1.9 “Relevant Practitioner(s)” A Specialist, Dentist, Hygienist, Orthodontic Therapist or Nurse;
2.1.10 “Relevant Treatment(s)” The Procedure or Non-Surgical Treatment booked through us;
2.1.11 “The City Dental Practice Leicester” The private dental practice located at 51–57 E Bond St, Leicester LE1 4SX, referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”;
2.1.12 “Complaints Procedure(s)” The complaints procedure referred to in our Practice Policies and Procedures;
2.1.13 “Specialist(s)” A dental practitioner registered with the General Dental Council with specialist status.

3.4 “Writing” includes email.

4.1 A contract comes into existence when we confirm we can provide your treatment.
4.2 If we cannot provide treatment, we will inform you and explain why.
4.3 We will:
Provide suitable facilities
Provide clear treatment information
Notify you of any delays due to unforeseen circumstances

You must:
Read and understand treatment plans and policies
Provide accurate and complete information
Keep us informed of any changes
Failure to do so may affect your treatment.

6.1 A deposit may be required before booking.
6.2 Payment plans will be agreed before treatment begins.
6.3 Payments are subject to applicable tax rules.
6.4 We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards (including AMEX).
6.5 Finance options are available.
6.6 Bank transfers are accepted (fees payable by Patient).
6.7 Late payments may incur interest at 3% above base rate.

Offers may change or be withdrawn at any time
Subject to availability and clinical assessment
A refundable deposit may be required to secure bookings

Practitioners are independent contractors
They hold appropriate qualifications and insurance
They are responsible for clinical decisions

Complaints should be made directly to the practice.
We will follow our Complaints Procedure to resolve issues. -
We process your data in line with our Privacy Policy
Data is shared only where necessary for treatment
All staff and practitioners are bound by confidentiality

Some treatments may be repaired or replaced if they fail within a year (clinically appropriate)
Laboratory work costs may be non-refundable once started
Refunds are subject to clinical review

We do not tolerate abuse or aggression toward staff or patients.
We reserve the right to terminate treatment in such cases. -
We use your contact details to manage appointments and treatment
We may send marketing communications with your consent
You can unsubscribe at any time
We do not share your data for third-party marketing

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
