Smile Assessment
Following your consultation, one of our experienced clinicians will carry out a detailed assessment to determine whether clear aligners are the right option for your smile. While clear aligners can successfully treat many orthodontic concerns, this evaluation helps us recommend the most suitable treatment for your individual needs.
Your Smile Preview
Using advanced 3D technology, we will create a digital preview of your future smile. This allows you to see how your teeth are expected to move throughout treatment and visualise your potential results before your aligners are even made.
Health Checks
To accurately plan your treatment, we will complete a series of diagnostic checks. This may include digital scans, photographs, X-rays, and a review of your dental history. These records help us create a fully personalised treatment plan tailored to your teeth and smile goals.
Treatment Approval
Before treatment begins, we will review your bespoke treatment plan with you in detail. Once you are completely happy with the proposed results and understand each stage of the process, we will begin creating your custom clear aligners.
Wearing Your Aligners
For the best results, your aligners should be worn for 20–22 hours per day. They can easily be removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing your teeth. Maintaining good oral hygiene and keeping your aligners clean will help ensure your treatment stays on track.
Gradual Teeth Alignment
Each set of aligners is typically worn for around two weeks before moving on to the next stage of treatment. Every aligner is carefully designed to gently guide your teeth closer to their ideal position. The total number of aligners required will depend on your individual smile goals and treatment needs.
Monitoring Your Progress
Throughout your treatment, we will schedule regular review appointments to monitor your progress and ensure your teeth are moving as planned. These visits also allow us to provide your next aligners and make any adjustments needed to keep your treatment progressing smoothly.
